Education is power. LankaPay and it's staff got together to make this new year a better one for the children at Mavanella, Udugama, Ganthuna Junior School. Nearly 70 deserving children were provided with school bags, school books and school shoes, lending a helping hand for them to pursue their studies.
LankaPay together with Police Life Saving Unit, Mount Lavinia carried out a beach cleaning project held in March 2018 in the Mount Lavinia beach. Installation of life saving instruction boards was an instrumental part of the activity, meeting a long felt need, considering the rising number of water related injuries and deaths.
At the request of the Tangalle Police Life Saving Unit, LankaPay installed 4 life Saving Instruction Boards in the Tangalle Paraiduwa beach in August 2018.
At the request of the Polhena Police Life Saving Unit, LankaPay installed 6 life Saving Instruction Boards in the Polhena beach in July 2018.
Conducted annually, LankaPay as a part of its CSR efforts arranges a 'fun day' at the National Cancer Hospital Maharagama, Childrens Ward. In 2016 the program arranged a 'King Coconut Treat' and gifts to the affected children.
Funded by donations, LankaPay together with the LankaPay Staff Welfare Association extended to the special needs children of Chandrasekara Special Children's School, Moratuwa stationary and other necessary school items.
Facilitated a project to regain the worst affected school in Matara district due to the floods that followed heavy showers. Flood relief was directed towards Morawaka Primary School, Morawaka, Matara.
